Matt brings more than 42 years of health care and medical device industry experience in sales, training, recruitment, and management roles for companies including Winthrop Laboratories, Cardiac Pacemakers Inc. and Boston Scientific. Matt played a key role in the commercial launch of breakthrough technologies, including the first implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), the first transvenous ICD therapies, and Anti-Tachycardia (ATP) device applications. As Vice President of Sales for Boston Scientific Matt drove the development of innovative new training programs that fostered clinical excellence. Matt also served on the Biomedical Advisory Board at Georgia Institute of Technology.
Bob has 43 years of medical device industry experience, centered in sales and marketing management functions, and has held officer positions with start-ups, large and small medical device companies. Bob is known for building and managing successful sales organizations at companies, including Cordis, Pacesetter, Jude Medical, Biotronik, CryoCath Technologies, etc. He has guided market development initiatives and commercial launches for medical device applications, including the implantable cardioverter defibrillator, cardiac cryoablation, vascular closure devices, heart valves, and biopolymer devices that deliver pharmaceutical interventions.

Greg has over 18 years of experience in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) arena. As a Regional Manager with Boston Scientific, he hired and trained a team of sales and clinical representatives while maintaining his own business. He has mentored and developed both sales and clinical reps as they have begun their own careers. Prior to industry, Greg served as a Military Intelligence Officer with the U.S. Army. During eight years of active duty, he served in a variety of key leadership, strategic planning and operations roles. He has extensive experience in planning, directing, and supervising sophisticated training in complex and fast-moving environments.
Susan Stamatis, RN, BSNClinical Applications Manager, Faculty

Susan has a combined 39 years in cardiology doing a variety of clinical roles such as Assistant Nurse Manager of a Coronary Care Unit and Department Manager in a Device Clinic overseeing the care of 1000+ patients with pacemakers and defibrillators. She also has 25 years of experience in the Cardiac Device Industry working for companies such a Datascope (Maquet) and Boston Scientific. She began her medical device career as a clinical specialist, and was promoted to clinical regional manger and sales representative roles. She is uniquely qualified to teach PrepMD students clinical as well a technical applications of CRM therapy.

Matt brings 10 years of experience in the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) industry to his role at PrepMD. As an IBHRE®-Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) senior sales representative with Boston Scientific, he managed a successful sales team in the New York City area. Matt is the Director of PrepMD’s contract staffing services division while managing the placement activities and coaching PrepMD students from a professional development standpoint. Prior to industry, Matt served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He trained and led infantry units while deployed to Iraq, responsible for planning and coordinating joint coalition combat missions.

Eliza is dual IBHRE® certified - Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) and Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS). She has over 9 years of medical sales experience. As a Senior Sales Representative at Abbott (formerly St. Jude Medical), she worked in the Cardiac Electrophysiology and Device Management space supporting electroanatomical mappings cases and device implants. Eliza provided 3D mapping support for over 2,500 procedures, and over 1,100 CIED implants during her career. Eliza manages cardiac electrophysiology instruction.
Kate Peucker, CCDSManager of Educational Development, Faculty
Kate is an IBHRE®-Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) with several years of experience in the CRM industry. As a clinical specialist for Biotronik, Kate covered major medical centers across New England, trained new employees, and managed her team’s daily schedule. Kate has a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. She is also a former PrepMD student and Academic Achievement Award winner. Her time at PrepMD combined with her experiences in the field give Kate a unique perspective on how to begin a career in the medical device industry.

Dan is a registered nurse and an IBHRE®-Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) with 34 years of experience in healthcare and the medical device industry. As a former corporate trainer for Boston Scientific, Dan played a key role in the development of simulated implant training for the CRM industry and trained over 1000 division field sales reps. His experience in the cardiac surgical unit and cardiac catheter lab at Boston Medical Center provides a tremendous resource to our students.

Greg is dual IBHRE® certified - Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (CEPS) and Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS). While working as an EP/TSS with Abbott Laboratories (St. Jude Medical) Greg assisted in more than 500 CIED implants and 150 ablations, as well routinely working with numerous cardiac device clinics. Greg holds a bachelor of science in Biomedical Engineering, with a minor in leadership studies. As Manager of Business Development, Greg helps create customized, efficient solutions that will bring your cardiac device clinic to the next level.

Satya has over 8 years of medical device global product management experience. With an MBA from Babson College and bachelors in biotechnology engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Satya has worked for medical device companies such as Smith & Nephew and Medtronic. With experience in areas including new product development, digital solutions, and global upstream and downstream marketing, along with technology and business analysis experience from IBM, Satya brings a very unique perspective to the PrepMD team.
Barbara KosharekMarketing & Admissions Specialist

Barbara has over 15 years of experience in training and development. Prior to joining PrepMD, she worked for a private sales training firm, where she played a key role in training needs assessment design and analysis, traditional and online course development, as well as managing all corporate marketing programs. She also worked for the U.S. Department of Defense Civilian Personnel Office in Frankfurt, Germany on training design and implementation for new employee training programs. Barbara worked in PrepMD’s Remote Monitoring before joining the Marketing and Admissions Team.
Melissa MonacoBusiness Manager
Melissa has over 15 years of experience in the medical device industry. Since inception, she has made significant contributions to the success of PrepMD and its graduates. Prior to joining PrepMD, Melissa was an Office Manager for Boston Scientific, serving the Northeast Area Vice President. Her work experience includes managing the advertising sales for the New York Times Magazine Group, Human Resources for Westinghouse Electric as well as being responsible for consumer marketing for Nivea USA skincare line. Her educational studies include Psychology and Health Studies.
