Through consultation, we helped the client identify exactly what their challenges were and what they needed from a training solution and then designed a customized online solution for them. The training became the standard for every new hire at the company. The client realized how successful the online offering was that made it available to their own customers through their website as a link and a resource to customers. Training Need
This large U.S. federal government agency came to PrepMD with a need to train their quality control engineers who needed cardiac therapies and fundamentals training in order to effectively engage with clinicians and scientists.
Onsite Training Solution
This agency had technically trained quality control engineers who needed a cardiac clinical foundation in order to communicate effectively with clinicians and scientists. PrepMD conducted online individual assessments to determine needs across the agency. A combination of classroom and lab training was designed and delivered on cardiac rhythm management, structural heart and interventional cardiology and related cardiac therapies. Follow-up evaluation and assessment was included to ensure comprehension and proficiency, and to identify additional training needs.

This client was getting ready to transition to commercial launch of a new product. They came to PrepMD to have us customize a training solution for their clinical team who would be transitioning over to additional sales responsibilities. This onsite training focused on sales in the cardiac clinical space, using selling skills assessments, sales training, and role playing. The training delivery was launched for their entire regional team as they prepared to go to market with this new product launch. The customized training solution is now the standard on-boarding sales training requirement for all new sales professionals.

This large university hospital came to PrepMD with a need to provide a hybrid training solution to augment their own internal teaching resources to all cardiology fellows and clinic staff on all the major device company programming.
Hybrid Training Solution
The hospital needed a customized hybrid training solution to augment their in-house physician-led teaching resources. PrepMD designed a solution that included video demonstrations, guided exercises, and programmer simulations for critical device follow up and programming tasks. This training was implemented in conjunction with their own internal teaching modules led by hospital physicians for a robust learning experience for all new cardiology fellows and cardiology device clinic staff. Pre-and Post testing and certification requirements were put into place to ensure proficiency and allow for identification of those needing repeat or reinforcement training.

Online Training Solution
This startup company had an existing presence in another medical specialty but was very busy transitioning to a new indication for their existing technologies into the cardiac space. They did not have the cardiac subject matter expertise they knew would be crucial for successful product launch and came to PrepMD to build their company branded training materials in an all-online format. The training program was delivered to all internal and field sales personnel and was so well-received that it became their standard required onboarding training for all newly hired employees.

After consultation with the clinic nurse manager it was determined that both training and direct staffing services would be utilized. Training design included proficiency assessments for existing staff to improve proficiency levels. The clinic also utilized PrepMD direct staffing services to hire newly trained cardiac device specialists to bring the entire cardiac staff up to a higher standard of care. The clinic was so satisfied with their newly hired device specialists and trained staff that PrepMD is now their standard resource for both training and staffing services.

This medical device company needed a training program for new salespeople. These new hires had strong medical device sales foundations, but lacked cardiac foundational knowledge to attain proficiency in their internal corporate product training.

PrepMD designed a cath lab training program with a custom delivery schedule to precede their in-house product training. This allowed employees to more quickly and successfully progress through internal training requirements. The company was so satisfied with the training and employee retention results, this became their baseline training for all new sales hires, which was also implemented across divisions.

This cardiac device clinic needed to train their cardiac device staff. After working with PrepMD to successfully train existing cardiac device specialists, this hospital now uses PrepMD training, placement, and remote monitoring services.
Hybrid Training Solution
After consultation with the clinical management team it was determined that individual assessments were needed to assess proficiency levels of each employee. Once assessments were complete, each person was then able to attend only the online training modules and hands-on workshops needed. Proficiency levels were assessed again upon training completion to ensure the staff was fully trained before returning to work.
